    I have reviewed these

I have reviewed these submissions and further action will be taken against the driver of the vehicles in the form of a fixed penalty notice

I have never achieved a FPN for a close passing offence in Lancashire, and I suspect nobody else has either. Neither do they do anything else. You have seen WU59 UMH before. No VED, insurance or MOT for over 6 years. This is an MOT test of 23rd September- I saw him again on the A6 on Sunday 1st October at 10:12

    You cannot stop us from

You cannot stop us from coming into this car park

There’s a challenge! Make sure you can stop them, is my suggestion- lockable bollard in the middle of the entrance should do it. Entitled parents are as much a pain as any other entitled group. We’ll soon be into the season where the dreadful idle parents sit in cars outside Garstang Community Academy waiting for the idle offspring with the engine running, and blocking the pavements, the road, making bus-drivers’ lives difficult etc

    “Ah, medical episode, mind

“Ah, medical episode, mind how you go sir”

It’s a handy Omni-Dodge, which works for every occasion just like LancsFilth’s ‘only a momentary loss of concentration’ (when the oncoming vehicle on the wrong side of the road hit me with the mirror) and ScotRozzer’s ‘he doesn’t remember the incident so there’s nothing we can do’. When the police can’t be bothered, they’ll accept anything

It’s interesting to see that it’s not only in Lancashire where moving traffic rules and regulations, especially those related to animals in the front of the vehicle, have been completely abandoned by the police

you can’t beat alloy rims for

you can’t beat alloy rims for value

I find I’m very happy with alloy wheels made up by a local wheelbuilder, but that’s because I’m always cycling with myself and I can’t see how much ground I’m losing by not having carbon wheels, and because I’m old. I think I’ll get Hope 5 hubs- anybody with experience of these?

    a passenger said they were

a passenger said they were “just in the process of applying for insurance”

Couldn’t happen in Lancashire, which declines to waste police time on trivia like this. Lancashire Constabulary also saves time by ignoring reports of vehicles like DX65 UCT owned by Matthew John Twitchett with no MOT for 7 months- he lives in North Lancashire so the company address is probably his mother’s. Opinion seems to be divided on whether the MOT absence automatically makes his motor insurance invalid.

The Salisbury Journal doesn’t say anything about them having to buy insurance over the phone, like they do on ‘Motorway Cops’.

Good info. I’ve pretty much decided on a Hope Hewitt rear.

As regards this ‘No VED from
As regards this ‘No VED from 1st August’: DVLA has a problem at the moment. I have come across numerous similar vehicles – too much even for MOT/ VED/ insurance evaders paradise Lancashire. So DVLA is not able to cope with posting accurate data on recently paid up VED

I thought it was four black

I thought it was four black Audis working to keep a stereotype alive, but I see now that one is a black VW

Joy almost unconfined- the only bad part is that the sea didn’t sort the b******s out. Not as good as Rufford Ford where gratification is almost immediate.

The freehub on the 70s bike

The freehub on the 70s bike is maybe the hardest thing to get a good replacement for

I think this is a freewheel- they hadn’t invented cassettes. Unless, of course, you’re talking about a non-original wheel

Firefighters called to car fire near David Lloyd Ringwood

At least that’s one fewer BMW actually driving itself around, so that’s a partial win

How is that not blocking the

How is that not blocking the pavement when there’s not even enough space for him and his dog?

Because they can walk on the road, as long as they wait so as not to inconvenience respectable motorists
