I’ve been using a small North Face backpack that I ‘borrowed’ from my other half for the last decade. The advantage is loads of organiser pockets inside, so stuff doesn’t rattle about. I don’t carry much – short commute – and it’s pretty much perfect.

The pinned “Pictures of your bike” thread has disappeared, though I eventually found it… without any likes showing at all :((
You can’t sort by “most liked” any longer.
Forum comment text is weirdly widely spaced and posts are spaced far apart. All looks like 1997

That said, I have a set of Vision Metron 40SL wheels that are absolutely beautiful. The hubs and bearings are top notch and they’ve been durable too.

I’ve got a Ridley Kanzo Fast and use two sets of wheels for just this reason. It’s running 13 speed Campag Ekar so I have a set of Shamal Carbon, 21mm internal running 34mm Vittoria Corsa N.Ext slicks; the other is Levante, 25 internal and running 38mm Vittoria Terreno Zeros (slick middle and edge lugs). I also have a dynamo front wheel built so with mudgards and lights it makes a simple winter bike. Works well and no problems swapping between them.

Yeah, that’s the classic style isn’t it: “The poor driver had a moment of distraction will now have to live with having killed someone for the rest of their lives”

Yes, been using them for a couple of years now. They make for a nice light-feeling website. Paired with decent tyres I’ve had no problems at all, even on my commuter in the mean streets of north London. Successfully patched a Tubolito once, after a piece of wire went through the tyre, but not had so much success with patching a RideNow. They’re so light and compact I can carry three or four spares in the space of two butyl tubes.

If it is indeed the Moldovan Embassy there, it could be their own electronic surveillance stuff – or perhaps, Russian surveillance of Moldovan embassy staff ?

I’ve got dynamos running B&M StVZO compliant lights. They are bright, but they have a hard upper cut-off so they don’t dazzle. They light up the road brilliantly too.

The Park chain tool with peening anvil works fine. I find Campag chains last about twice as long as Ultegra chains used to last me. Never had a peened rivet fail (though I’m mostly using quick links these days).
And as velotech says below, all the detailed instructions can be found at campagnolo.com with very detailed descriptions for how to install and adjust everything. Good luck and enjoy the difference!

I did the four windows on my Victorian flat. I replaced the parting beads (between the panes) and the staff moulds with new timber ones that have a slot for a felted draft seal. It wasn’t particularly difficult, I’d say a couple of hours per window. The result is much more air tightness.
Secondary glazing is a better option than double glazing for historic sashes.
Don’t even think about uPVC windows if you care for the planet and its future. -
