The Gamin Edge 1040 is great for endurance rides, boasting an epic 40-hour battery life that will keep you going through night and day – and another night and a bit more day.
The device measures 117.6mm x 59.3mm and features a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen. Navigation is handled by multi-band GNSS which negates typical GPS deadspots in areas like deep forests and high-rise city streets, and Garmin’s mapping is great too.
While Bike Inn lists it slightly cheaper, once UK delivery costs are added, Sigma Sports’ £349 price is the better overall deal.

Scoring an 8/10 in our review, the Giro Cielo Mips helmet is a good-looking helmet that is still reasonably light and offers a number of Giro’s best safety features, despite not sitting at the top of the range.
Visually, you can see that the Giro Cielo Mips isn’t an aero helmet, with 22 vents across the structure giving it a perforated appearance.

For added peace of mind when it comes to your prized possession, the Knog Scout combines a highly effective tracker with a very loud and sensitive alarm that’s sure to draw attention, and earnt a 9/10 in its road.cc review.
