Giant

Giant are recognised as the biggest bicycle manufacturer in the world and are based in Taiwan. They make 5 different families of road cycling and track bikes that include, Defy, Propel, TCR, Trinity & the Omnium track bike and these can be found at over 12,000 worldwide retailers.

Giant started out manufacturing bikes for other brands, primarily Schwinn.  However in 1987 when Schwinn decided to change manufacturer Giant decided to promote their own brand of bikes across the globe and not just in China.

Giant also sponsor the Giant-Alpecin professional world tour racing team. This team includes great riders like John Degenkolb and world beating sprinter Marcel Kittell.
