Amflow’s PL Carbon is a bike that needs absolutely no introduction. Unveiled at Eurobike 2024, it was the first bike to don DJI’s entry into the motor world, the Avinox. Since then, Amflow has been the talk of the town, and now, the brand has announced a sale on its PL Carbon Pro, knocking 14% off the asking price.

The Amflow PL Carbon made its name for being rather light, at a claimed 19.2kg while offering more power than standard full-fat e-mountain bikes, 105Nm of continuous torque, in fact. If that’s not enough, in Boost mode, the motor can knock out a mighty impressive 120Nm of torque. Then, combined with an 800Wh battery, it comes with the capability to provide plenty of range.

As Amflow’s first-ever e-MTB, it’s designed to be versatile with a large frame rocking a 475mm reach, a 64.5-degree head tube angle, a 445mm chainstay, and a 77-degree effective seat tube angle. Those are all pretty standard trail numbers, if you ask me, and that’s no bad thing.

Compatible with a full 29in wheel setup, or mixed wheels, the bike’s geometry is complemented with 150mm of four-bar link-activated rear travel, and 160mm travel up front. As its name suggests, that’s all built around a carbon frame too.

On offer, Amflow has announced a sale on its PL Carbon Pro model, knocking 14% off its original asking price, so for a limited time, it can be picked up for £7,699, rather than £8,999.

That gets you that carbon frame and Avinox drive system, but the bike is equipped with a full Fox suite of Kashima-coated suspension, so that’s a 2026 Fox 36 Factory fork, a Fox Float X Factory shock, and Fox’s Transfer Factory dropper post. The bike is driven by SRAM’s X0 Eagle Transmission drivetrain, slowed thanks to a pair of Magura MT7 Pro brakes, and it rolls on a pair of carbon rims. Those wheels are then wrapped with a Maxxis Assegai in a MaxxTerra compound and EXO casing up front, while the rear wheel gets a Maxxis Dissector with a MaxxTerra compound and burlier EXO+ casing.

But if that saving isn’t enough, Amflow is throwing in an Amflow Front Light (worth £189) for free with every purchase. There is a kicker, however, this is a limited-time sale, starting now and ending on the 2nd of March.

What does this mean for the brand? The PL Carbon in its current guise has been around for a good couple of years now, and it’s already rumoured that Amflow has been working on a new bike in the background. At 2025’s Eurobike, the brand was even welcoming feedback in order to shape a new bike. So perhaps Amflow is clearing stock to make way for what could be a new model.
