Are you a big Rapha and Canyon fan? If you are, then this is the bike for you, a very limited edition version of the bike company’s Ultimate CF SLX carbon fibre race bike.
Just 50 of the specially finished Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Aero bikes will be available to Rapha Cycling Club members by invitation only. Each bike will be hand painted with a grey and black fade with pink decals, smartly matching the RCC team kit.
The paint finish “reflects the RCC colour palette so you get the fade that is present in our other products this season,” says designer Patrick Wylde-Mafham. “The details in the frame really make it - each frame is unique to the owner, with their personal RCC number and chapter logo.”
“It was a case of looking at the bike as a whole and working with the lines Canyon have designed; bringing out the craftsmanship and engineering that have created such ground-breaking technology.”
A top-end build will include SRAM’s wireless Red eTap groupset with Zipp 404 NSW carbon clincher wheels producing a complete bike weight of (claimed) 6.35kg for a size medium. Lucky customers will be able to choose from seven sizes, 2XS up to 2XL.
And the cost for this special bike? €7,000.
If you’re thinking about heading to the Canyon website to get a similarly specced bike in a regular paint job, you can’t. You can, however, pick up the Ultimate CF SLX Disc 9.0 Aero for £5,649, with a SRAM Red eTap HRD disc brake groupset and DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut DB wheels.

Think I'm going to wait for the B-Twin/Aldi collaboration.
€7000!!!!!! Even taking into account the fact that's in euros, that's still £7000!

Has April Fool's Day come early?
Cool story, bro.
It does look quite sharp; except I am not in the RCC-pay-to-join-our-club-so-we-can-sell-you-more-stuff-club.
