Good news all in then. You might be able to go down on the pressure with the wider tyres, I’ve put 30mm tubeless on my “comfort” bike (Vaaru MPA) and have them at 65psi, it makes quite a (good) difference.

It’s sometimes easy to forget
It’s sometimes easy to forget to drink during a ride, what I’d like to know is, whether there’s a way round this? If only there was something that could be fastened to the top tube, like a “sticker” for example, that could help with “pacing” – in a handy 4-pack with free worldwide shipping?
