Summer, boring and obvous - but think of the reasons why! Warm, short sleeves, shorts, no rain jackets, no under helmets, no overshoes, no washing the bike after every ride no matter how short. Good the be alive and on two wheels days!

I prefer spring - not too cool not to hot, and you have daylight for the evening ride.

It's a close call between Autumn & Spring for me, but I'm gonna plump for the crispy cool but sunny Spring ones !

Got to love the Autumn, not for the onset of winter, just the sheer delight of cycling in average temperatures with some absolutely beautiful scenery and colours.

There is no better time to hit the hills. The views are unencumbered by any hazy mist, the grip on the road is exceptional, and you dont sweat buckets climbing your favourite roads.

Late Autumn, early winter, so late November early December. I love cycling in the cold, enjoy the freshness after a warm summer, the landscape can be seen and not hidden by vegetation. And during early winter I've not had enough of the cold yet.
