The 2015 London Bike Show is happening on the 12-15th February and to whet your appetite for what you can expect to see, here’s a preview from some of the brands and exhibitors that'll be showcasing the latest bikes, parts and clothing. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you can book them in advance and save at www.thelondonbikeshow.co.uk

Shand to launch revamped Skinnymalinky

Scottish bicycle company Shand will be displaying four of their models at the show, including the popular Stoater that we reviewed last year, in a choice of builds to demonstrate its versatility. The steel frame can be run with either a conventional drivetrain, or a Rohloff gear hub and disc brakes.

Shand will use the London Bike Show to launch their revamped Skinnymalinky steel road bike. It’s built from Reynolds 853 tubing and is designed to be a fast and lightweight bike for long distance rides, with space for 28mm tyres and mounts for mudguards. It carries over the same geometry of the previous model but both the frame and fork have received a host of updates. Unfortunately they don’t have any photos of the new frame yet, so you’ll definitely have to head to the show to see it, but here's a look at the previous version. All Shand frames are built, painted and assembled in Scotland.

Ritte Ace on show

Like the look of the Ritte Ace that we told you about last week? Well head to the London Bike Show and you’ll be able to get a much closer look, as it’ll be pride of place on the Silverfish stand. This is the first time the new bike will be seen in the wild. It's sure to turn a few heads.

It’s an all-new, stiffer and lighter, carbon from the US brand with a hefty Belgian influence, with a claimed 980g frame weight. It’s available in three colours, a range of sizes and costs £2,000.

Easton £3,000 carbon fibre wheels

Easton will be display their range of 2015 wheels, which is dominated by the stupendously light (1,050g) and expensive (£3,000) E100 wheels.

The wheels are created entirely from carbon fibre, including for the hub, spokes and rim. Unlike most all-carbon wheels, Easton says the carbon spokes can be tensioned.

2015 team bikes on TriUK’s stand

TriUK will be exhibiting the latest bikes from Scott, Wilier, Cannondale, Argon 18, GT, Boardman, Scapin, Olympia, Giant. As well as stock bikes, they’ll be showing several team bikes, including the Giant Alpecin Team Propel race bike and the IAM Scott Addict Team Issue, the first time both bikes have been seen in the UK this year.

Another special bike they’ll be showing includes Matthias Brändle’s Hour Record Scott Plasma, so that’ll definitely be worth a visit for.

They’ll also have a very special custom Olympia 849 built for the show, which appeared on Twitter last month.

Cotic to display new frame colours

UK brand Cotic will be showing their popular Escapade (read our review here) and RoadRat bikes at the show, and while there are no changes to the actual frames, there are new paint job options for both models.

For the RoadRat there’s a new Matte Orange alongside the existing Olive Gloss/British Racing Green from 2014, and for there’s a new Black 3M Scotchlite (reflective down tube wraps) and Hot Yellow for the Escapade.

They’re available in late March and can be ordered now, the London show will be the first time to see them in the flesh. So fresh are the paint jobs that they don’t have any studio photos yet, so you’ll have to make do with this graphics.

Stolen Goat

Clothing brand Stolen Goat will be exhibiting their Bodyline range with some fresh jersey and bib short designs that haven’t been seen anywhere before. Stolen Goat's range of clothing has been well recieved and has impressed the road.cc team.

While the Bodyline range uses the latest high tech fabric and material design, the Retro Image Apparel line they’ll be showcasing at the London show offers a more classical styling.

This Paris-Roubaix jersey is one example of the new Retro Image Apparel range.

Cycloc launches new Hero wall mount

Cycloc’s range expands with the addition of the new Hero, a wall mount that secures a bike in place with just one pedal, as you can see in the photo below.

The wall mount is designed to be versatile and accommodating of a wide range of bicycles, even tandems can be mounted on the Hero. The Hero is said to be easy to use, one pedal fits into the oval opening and the wheel rests protect the walls from damage.

ashmei clothing

Be sure to check out the latest cycling attire from ashmei, and they’ll be easy to spot at the show as they’re going to have an iconic 1964 Airstream caravan on their stand.

Their range includes cycle jackets, bib shorts, jerseys, tri suits and accessories. The company utilise some of the latest clothing technology currently available, such as a merino/carbon cycle jersey that it claims wicks sweat ten times more effectively than a standard merino wool jersey.

They have also developed bib shorts that use a woven microfibre fabric that is wind and water resistant, provides compression and features a padded insert that doesn’t absorb sweat.

Scimitar Sports bespoke team kit

If you want to see some bespoke cycle club team kit, Scimitar Sports are worth hunting down at the show as they offer a wide range of clothing and claim to be competitive on prices. They’ll also be exhibiting a range of licensed jerseys from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SpongeBob Square Pants, Swizzles Matlow and  Umbongo, and there’ll be discounts during the show.
