One thing that we really like is not getting drenched halfway through a long ride and when you live in the UK, the chance of rain is always there. Two of the products that made this month's Recommends are lightweight rain jackets, so we thought that we’d do the buying advice about them.

Castelli Idro 3 RCCR 2

We’d honestly say that a good lightweight rain jacket is the best purchase that you can make for riding in the UK, so check out the video for some top tips before you part with your cash.

The route of the month is a slightly different one, in that you can make it into whatever you want it to be. We headed to Afan forest in Wales a few weeks ago to film with off.road.cc and headed into the woods. It’s a brilliant place to ride with everything from a gravel bike through to an enduro race rig, and Liam Mercer talks us through where you should be aiming for. Remember, you can go and find that route over on our Komoot page.

Dave takes a little look at the tasty Heydon Village Tea Shop, and we finish by giving away the award for our product of the month. Want to know what we chose? You’ll have to grab a coffee and settle down to watch the video.

Head over to road.cc Recommends to check out all the latest additions, as well as those from previous months.
