MISSION WORKSHOP IN PARIS from Bicycle Store on Vimeo.
To me this short film captures the feeling of both solitude and community. Day's can be spent in silence with just you, your bike, the road and your thoughts. I use my bike to propel me into my own little world of escapism where at times I might be fighting evil pink robots or having high tea with King Kong or remunerate over recent difficulties until I have pedalled them into insignificance. The other times my bike is like a club card to like minded people, the fraternity of bike geeks where I can chatter about gear sizes and techy components, to an outsider it probably sounds like we are reading from an odd Italian menu! Any who, this video is bit of nice.
