Bianchi has introduced an updated version of its Infinito bike, which is lighter than previously and with space for tyres up to 40mm, designed to provide the flexibility to tackle light gravel.
Bianchi introduced the Infinito as an endurance road bike back in 2009, and it has evolved over the years. The 2024 model had clearance for tyres up to 32mm wide, but that has all changed now, Bianchi saying that the new model “taking the all-rounder category to a whole new level”.

“Redesigned from the ground up, the new Infinito redefines the category by blending three core elements: the performance you expect from a premium road bike, best-in-class comfort for long hours on the saddle, and the gravel-ready versatility to excel across diverse terrain,” says Bianchi. “The result is a new all-rounder bike without limits: one that makes you feel like you could ride forever.”
So what has changed this time around?

Infinito has featured Bianchi’s Countervail vibration-cancelling technology in its frameset since 2013, and the Italian brand says that it has now been updated.
“This improved formula – which combines a viscoelastic material with a special carbon fibre – is 20% lighter than the previous generation, and works in perfect harmony with the reshaped seat post to reduce vibration,” says Bianchi.
“Now also integrated across the reworked seatpost, Countervail maximises comfort without the need for heavy or unsightly external damping systems, enabling riders to enjoy greater control, less muscle fatigue and more energy.”
Higher stack height
Bianchi has also adjusted the Infinito’s geometry with a higher stack height that’s designed to increase comfort on longer rides.

You get a zero-offset seatpost – meaning the clamp is inline with the post itself – which is said to “optimise the hip angle to improve breathing and pedalling efficiency”, and longer seatstays for extra stability.
Ready for gravel
The previous version of the Infinito was a bit of an all-rounder, but Bianchi goes further now and says that it is “gravel-ready”.
The frame can now take 40mm slick tyres. There are plenty of gravel bikes that can take tyres much wider than that, but 40mm certainly gives you the ability to tackle light gravel and rougher surfaces, as long as it’s not too technical.

You also get an internal compartment in the down tube where you can keep tools, spares, and an emergency jacket. Everyone’s at it these days.
Launch Edition
Bianchi is producing a special Launch Limited Edition of the new Infinito, limited to 200 numbered pieces.

This model comes in a glossy white and purple fade colourway and is built up with either a SRAM Force XPLR 1×13 AXS gravel or Shimano Ultegra Di2 road groupset with dual-side power meter. It’s fitted with a Fizik Adaptive Saddle with 3D-printed padding, and the choice of either slick or light gravel tyre options.
The Launch Edition is priced at £6,750.
Other models
If that price puts you off, the Bianchi Infinito Pro comes in 2×12-speed SRAM Force AXS/Rival AXS and Shimano Ultegra Di2/105 Di2 groupset options at prices from €4,950 (we don’t yet have UK prices for these models).
The standard build Infinito, available with 12-speed Shimano 105 Di2 and mechanical groupset options, starts at €2,790.

it looks almost normal – at least compared to the arcadex and oltre RC, but that seatclamp is nowhere close to being inline.
