Especially for 2022, Canyon has given the Neuron:ON a fresh lick of paint and has updated the spec. Now, all bikes get a Shimano EP8 built around an alloy frame and the battery sizes are scaled to the frame sizes.

Canyon’s shorter travel trail e-bike, the Neuron:ON is designed to make the very most of the 130mm of squish on offer. That’s thanks to the Triple Phase Suspension kinematic. Then, to offer a consistent ride dynamic throughout the size range, its wheel size is scaled depending on which frame size you pick. So, for example, sizes XS and S get 650b wheels while M up to XL bikes get 29″ hoops.

To further that consistent ride dynamic, the Shimano EP8’s motor also scales with the bike’s size. So XS and S bikes come with a 504Wh battery, then the bigger ones get a larger 630Wh unit.

Also new for 2022, the Neuron:ON is kitted with FSA Comet cockpits and Fizik Terra Alpaca saddles. Then, great for those on a budget the range has been expanded to include four bikes. The new Neuron:ON 6 brings the bike to a more accessible price point and offers a RockShox 35 Silver fork with a Deluxe rear shock, Shimano shifting, and a dropper post.

Prices for the new range of Neuron:ONs start at £3,750 and go up to £5,350.
