You don’t need me to tell you

You don’t need me to tell you yet again that Lancashire Constabulary would ignore this even if you did have video of exactly the same view of the lights as the Biffa driver, because ‘everybody does it’. No numberplate is ever visible enough for LC.

Just 9 years for this – pathetic

    It’s considerably worse than ‘pathetic’!

People who the forelock-tugging police consider toffs are automatically inducted into the Lancashire Prestige Club, so they never have to think of MOT for their new vehicle: MF70 VKS

    I’m assuming you’re well

I’m assuming you’re well aware that all this stuff was emphasised to the police  -and Andrew Snowden, Lancashire PCC, when the police were clearly following their Standard Operating Procedure and doing nothing at all, while making no response. Snowden initially said ‘nothing to do with me, it’s an operational decision of the police’, and then began to refuse to reply as well. Note that neither body has offered any explanation like ‘he’s an undercover police officer’ or ‘it’s a mistake that all his MOTs and VED payments haven’t been recorded’. They just don’t reply.

    He’s still around! Most

He’s still around! Most nights parked for hours outside the pub, 100 yards from Garstang police station. He’s certainly free from MOT and VED, although the police haven’t yet publicly announced the Lancashire Constabulary charging scheme which gives you a pass to ensure that the police don’t trouble you for them- I think it’s only LC Specially Approved Customers at the moment

    From 1 July, HRMC will

From 1 July, HRMC will abandon the payload-based definition and deem any pick-up with a second row of seats as suitable for private use and therefore a car

Hope it’s true, but it won’t have any effect in Lancashire where the pickups like WU59 UMH have gone completely ‘off-grid’ with the agreement of Lancashire Constabulary

    Another driving tragedy and

Another driving tragedy and another Coroner not grasping the bull by the horns, so we will learn nothing

This is Audi A1 YH66 UTP pulling out from a school onto the main road ‘interacting’ with a mobile held in the right hand. No response from Lancashire Constabulary- the officer, if they ever think at all, no doubt thinking ‘nothing happened, what’s the fuss about’

    ‘Unrest’ in village stops

‘Unrest’ in village stops roadworks amid ‘serious safety’ concerns

Big fuss about what is obviously not a ‘serious safety concern’, yet when there is one the police do nothing for months and years. This pickup is outside the pub 100 yards from Garstang Police Station yet again tonight

At least the mystery of Marie

At least the mystery of Marie Antoinette’s descendants has now been solved. They ended up in Accrington! Pedestrians have no crossings? Let them drive!

    When the trial period was

When the trial period was announced I appealed on here for some Crewe resident to tell us the outcome of a real case (obviously, because I’m expecting the police/ council to ignore them in reality, as opposed to PR), so I’m now repeating the appeal for a ‘resident of Cheshire’ to show us some real action!

The reason for the scepticism is the wording residents can upload videos and photographs of offending vehicles to the website where they will be assessed by an experienced traffic officer, who will triage and deal with any dangerous parking offences

This is the same as the rubbish written when advertising OpSnap, where your evidence is viewed by a thickhead coming up with tripe like ‘wasn’t a significant close pass because the cyclist didn’t swerve or brake‘. Their final fall-back excuse is always ‘we were too busy to look at this case‘, so I’m expecting some Class A weaselling to be exposed on here
