We're kicking off the road.cc rideout season tomorrow the 17th March (yes, St Patrick's Day so bring some shamrock) from our office in Bath. If you haven't booked your place yet and you'd like to come we've got some good news we're laying on some extra last minute ride spots just follow this link to reserve your plcace (it's free).
We love having you guys and girls coming in for a bit of a meet and greet with the team and taking a look behind the scenes of the website. You'll be able to get a glimpse of what kit we're currently testing and the editorial staff will be kicking around to answer any questions you may have.
So what are we offering?
As always we'll be laying on refreshments before and after the ride so you certainly won't find yourself going hungry, the last rideout involved plenty of freshly made pizzas washed down with cool beers. This ride being on St Patrick's Day though we'll probably be chucking in some Irish treats too, Guinness anyone?
For every rider completing the ride there will be the chance to dunk your hand into the box of random cycling bits and bobs, also known as the road.cc schwagaway!
These times may change a little but for now our plan is this...
Our briefing will be at 11.30am where we'll introduce you to the ride leaders and any other details you may need to know. Don't worry it won't be anything too regimented as we're a pretty relaxed lot here at road.cc, it'll just be your usual club run stuff.
We'll also have mechanics on hand for any quick bike checks should you need it.
Come noon we'll be departing the road.cc HQ for a couple of hours of riding. Depending on numbers and abilities we'll probably split into a couple of groups offering a longer and shorter route, normally about 25-30 miles for the short and 35-40 for the longer of the two. You'll be emailed with the route details in the week previous to the ride so that you can choose which one you want to do on the day.
That's it basically, a fun day eating, drinking, riding and chatting so if you fancy it head over to the registration page here to get your name down. Places are limited mind so don't hang about.
Fu** this country. Might remove the restriction on my ebike
So what this tells me is that I can ride into a ped and knock them down and it will be treated as minor. Righto
Such a lovely paintjob.
Are you perchance referencing the lack of come-uppance in cases like this?...
Either you've not been to a Costa, or you've misunderstood the "hipster" stereotype.

I watched the last hour of the women's race on the BC youtube live feed. Hugely impressive solo ride by 19 year old Alice Towers, holding off...
"Careful lad, don't scratch my paint."
Woman loses bag during flight transfer doesnt have the same ring to it does it? Feel for her but not sure this was worth a Road.cc story.
There is that little button to press on the Lezyne hose to relieve the pressure before unscrewing. Not sure if it actually helps matters or is just...
