German trials rider Max Schrom was so inspired by the story of Martyn Ashton, star of the Road Bike Party videos, that he decided to produce his own version for his latest video.
Called Road Bike Parkour, Schrom, whose skills have earned him two Guinness World Records, puts a road bike through its paces in the film. The results are impressive.
Earlier this year, Ashton released the follow-up to his original Road Bike Party film. While it was being made, he lost the use of his legs due to a crash that happened while he was giving a stunt display.
Chris Akrigg and Danny MacAskill stepped in to help him complete the video, and a behind the scenes documentary was released earlier this month.

OK, the low saddle I can
OK, the low saddle I can accept because of the need for (nut) clearance. The awful hood positions I can live with in order to have constant brake lever contact while stunting. However there is no, absolutely no excuse for laying a bike on the ground drive side down! 😀
Twice! He did it twice,
Twice! He did it twice, obviously not his bike.
