With bikes such as the Level, the Sly, and the Dusty, Mondraker has quickly been bolstering its pedal-assist and e-MTB lineup. And today is no different, as the brand has added yet another e-mountain bike to its roster, the Scree. Where many e-bikes are loaded with suspension travel for proper winch and plummet shenanigans, the Mondraker says that the Scree is its first-ever trail-focused e-MTB. Here’s everything you need to know.

Mondraker says that its existing bikes, the Crafty and the Level, “paved the way” for the new Scree, stating that its arrival was merely a matter of time. With that, it’s designed to appeal to those starting their mountain biking careers and those transitioning from regular mountain bikes to e-MTBs. Although with 130mm of rear suspension and 150mm up front, combined with a pair of 29in hoops, it’s shaped for versatility and responsiveness, says the brand.

Built around Mondraker’s Stealth Alloy frame, the Scree is driven by Bosch’s Performance Line CX motor that rustles up 100Nm of torque. That’s then paired with either an 800Wh or 600Wh removable battery, and the bike is compatible with the PowerMore range extender for an additional 250Wh. Oh, and the latest Kiox 400 display shows all of the metrics and data you could shake a stick at.
In that frame is space for two bottle cages, one to house hydration, and the other to hold a range extender; there’s clearance for 2.6in rubber, and there’s internal cable routing that enters into the head tube. Of course, it’s loaded with plastic and rubber frame protection, too.

Coming in five sizes, including an M/L, the scree benefits from a 77-degree effective seat tube angle, a 65.5-degree head tube angle, a 456mm chainstay, and a large frame boasts a 500mm reach, whereas the aforementioned M/L gets a 480mm measurement.
There are then four models on offer, with the base level Scree S 600 rocking a RockShox Psylo Silver fork, a RockShox Deluxe Select shock, SRAM DB6 brakes, and SRAM’s Eagle 70 Transmission drivetrain.

At the other end of the price scale is the Fox Factory-equipped Scree RR. This one gets Fox’s 36 Factory fork combined with the Float Factory EVOL shock. SRAM also brings the shifting with an electronic S1000 Eagle AXS T-Type drivetrain, and there’s a pair of SRAM DB8 Stealth brakes.
As for pricing, that Scree S 600 will set you back £4,999 while the top-level Scree RR is £6,199.
