Yeah I'd have Swift as first replacement in that team, but his time will come, he's only young and now that Cav's in his team, he can learn faster, but i don't think he'll get as many higher profile races this year, he'll be the "outside europe" sprinter
hard to argue with that line up at the moment, but there's a chunk of next season to go first. Mebbe Ben Swift as insurance? He can go up and down hills and sprint a bit, but if they're going for the same game plan as at the worlds then you'd have to say Froome.
Eight British riders – Cavendish, Bradley Wiggins, David Millar, Ben Swift, Peter Kennaugh, Stephen Cummings, Geraint Thomas and Adam Blyth - scored UCI ranking points in 2011. <<< Taken from RCUK
What about Froome and Dowsett??
So five riders from that - David Millar who cannot ride at this moment because of his ban for doping, unless he decided to challenge it
So as it stand, i think it would be
Cav
Wiggo
GT
Cummings
Froome???
