The clock is counting down until the start of the London Bike Show 2015 at the ExCeL Centre on Thursday 12th February, and there is still time to book your tickets in advance over at the official website.
There are plenty of good reasons to attend the show. How about this, Enigma Cycles are offering one lucky person the chance to win an Evade titanium road bike, pictured below, worth £5,500. The competition, in association with the Telegraph, will provide the lucky winner with a fully bespoke custom made frame made in-house by frame builder Joe Walker.
Interested? We thought you might be. To register for the competition you just need to head to the Telegraph stand at the show and get your name in the hat. Form an orderly queue.
The Evade is a new model from titanium specialists Enigma and is billed as a “fast endurance bike with contemporary classic styling.” Engima will also be unveiling a new Ecroix adventure and cyclocross bike at the show, so good reason to visit their stand. And good reason to visit the show.
For more of what you can expect to see at the London Bike Show, you can have a read our our two detailed previews that give a taste of some of the bikes, parts and accessories that will be on display. There will be over 200 cycling related exhibitors present at the show, so these articles represent just a snippet of what will be exhibited. Here's part one and part two.
There is plenty more to see besides shiny new kit. Sir Chris Hoy will be attending the show on Saturday, with a live Q&A session on the main stage talking about the sponsorship of the HOY Future Stars at the revolution series, his ever growing range of bikes, and more. Afterwards, Chris will be available for autographs. Hoy's new clothing range with Vulpine will also be launching for the first time at the show.
Canyon will be hosting a Q&A with Alex Dowsett on Saturday, followed by a signing event. Other stars in attendance include BMX World Champion Liam Phillips, Greg LeMond, Dave Brailsford and Sean Kelly.
If you’re interested in knowing how to best improve your fitness in readiness for the summer, be sure to pop along to the Surrey Human Performance Training Hub. Fully trained experts will be on hand to give you a personalised training plan and providing fitness measurements to help you get the most of your training time.
A 500m demo track proved hugely popular with visitors last year and it’ll be there again this year, with a wide range of road, commuter and electric bikes to try out.
Drumming up some excitement and fireworks will be the StreetVelodrome, a new addition for the 2015 show. Visitors will be encouraged to swing a leg over a big and have a spin on the world’s only pop-up velodrome.
Also new is the Innovation Lab. Want to see the latest technology and state-of-the-art bicycle design? This is the place to head, as it’ll be packed with concept bikes, mobile apps, technology, start-ups, transport schemes and the latest innovations in safety equipment, kit, accessories and clothing.
The London Bike Show heads to to London’s ExCeL from 12-15 February 2015. You can find out more about the show and book your tickets at www.thelondonbikeshow.co.uk. See you there.
