Archive: Village’s women ban sex before bypass demo
The demonstration was held after a bypass around the village was delayed, with Mrs Ware’s husband Richard saying through-traffic had “grown to a level of obscenity”

That is an appalling, but all
That is an appalling, but all too common, attitude from the police. Something needs to change. This driver broke the law. They should be held accountable for their actions. I hope you make a full recovery and get what you are owed in terms of financial redress from the culprit’s insurer.

That’s valid, but reading
That’s valid, but reading this again, it sounds like the two cyclists were riding together, probably abreast. The overtaking car cut in when an oncoming car appeared, causing the cyclists to collide with each other (or become dismounted, as the odd police wording claims).
edit: looks like more than two cyclists involved, police appeal: https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/news-appeals/appeal-witnesses-after-cyclists-seriously-injured-wetherby

Yoga nearly met her demise after making plans to meet up with a friend to go partying and decided to do the trip alone. She recalls feeling “euphoric” and lost track of where she was going – and her speed.
I hope the officer at the scene performed a DrugWipe?! Or maybe not, it’s just too far fetched for even this hallucination that there might be a traffic officer about when you need one.

Jimmy Choo CEO banned from driving. Tough one that, as I’m sure you can’t walk far in those heels.

Hopefully this will kick the government into action. Many of the school buses I see locally look very old and clapped out. Clouds of black smoke and choking fumes are not really what you want near schools. It also helps if the wheels don’t fall off (yes, that was plural)…

“can neither confirm nor deny
“can neither confirm nor deny”
I was under the impression that was a stance usually reserved for matters of national security, not some close pass of a cyclist! What planet are the police on! 🤣I can, however, understand them not releasing the details of a specific case under FOI, as it becomes a matter of public record. But you, as the victim, should be given that information privately under the victims code.
