Ok, just did a quick search, opened the first 5 reviews that you had made comments in that came up.All pretty much saying the same thing, no matter the product…..To expensive, the reviewed may be biased, you can get the same thing for x amount and it is better…..none of it that is helpful to anyone viewing the review in my opinion.
It actually to me, makes you look like you go round some reviews and have a pop at the items price. I may be wrong.

If anyone has sense around these parts, they will avoid this kind of thing. Never give you footage to a TV company because they can then twist it whatever way to suit their program and it can then be used it other shows….Nitromors is what I use on
Nitromors is what I use on any metallic thing I want to strip paint from, got to wear protection though, face mask and gloves, then do it in a well ventilated area.For painting, as long as you have the frame clean and get a good primer on it, spraying will be fine for a home job. Power coating is always nice though 🙂

It seems to be totally alien to people who rely on everything a LBS tells them….
There is a REALLY basic and
There is a REALLY basic and simple test either you or the bike shop could carry out to find out where exactly on the wheel the noise is coming from.Those sticky coloured dots you get for marking things on a calendar, get a mixed pack of those, 5 colours I think, then every third spoke or so that are matching at the either side of the wheel, so if yellow is at the bottom, yellow is also at the top, place a different colour, go out for a little spin around the block with someone, every time you hear that noise, make sure they see which colour is at the bottom of the wheel.
This way you are narrowing down the area of the wheel that is making the sound. You then have two areas to focus on, being the top and bottom of the wheel on X colour. eliminating the rest of the wheel.
If it is the tyre like they think, it sound be a simple thing to find, if it is the spokes and most of us think, it should also be a simple case of tightening up one or two of them. As happens with ALL wheels, they are set at the right tension when built, off of a bike, as soon as you put a frame, components and a rider on there, the tension soon needs a slight tweak.
Personally, if you have been back to a LBS more than 3 times with the same problem, I’d be loath to use them again, unless you really have no other option and cannot do it yourself.

If the LBS think it is the tyres, that says to me they are not confident with their own skills on gluing tyres, so I would avoid them for that job in future.Pretty sure it will be the spokes though, never heard a tyre, even if it wasn’t seated right making a ticking noise.

I was walking around London killing time on Monday, saved a couple of cyclists.As I was all prepared for racing on Sunday, I still had some things on me, a guy went past me and something went PING, he snapped his chain, didn’t have a spare link, luckily, I had some, got him going again.
Then near the Olympic park, a kid stacked it on his BMX trying to do a jump and his bars were all twisted round so they didn’t line up, no worries, stuck it between my legs and brute forced it back into place.
Always nice to help others out and even better if someone helps me if ever I have a problem.

Personally, I wouldn’t have done anything with the bike until the insurance agreed to pay for it.It can take months for a claim to be settled, so two weeks is nothing, I’ve seen things dragged out for 7/8 months before.
If you have already paid for it to be fixed yourself and are riding again, that is the main thing, just let the insurance sort it out, rather than trying to drag it through small claims or other forms of court as it is such a small amount. If it was the whole bike written off, then I would be chasing it up.
