I have had a ride on one
I have had a ride on one bought from China and also seen one from Taiwan, the are decent frames and not the cheap quality i would expect

They are pretty cheap, but most just come frame and forks, some come with bars aswell

I contacted a seller who offered me, frame, fork, bars and wheels for $1199 including shipping, so thats like £730, not bad, but then add on everything else you have to get and your going to still be over £1000, so save a little extra and get a decent carbon bike from a retailer you know

    Something like this http://www.evanscycles.com/products/quintana-roo/seduza-2010-triathlon-bike-ec024077

I would get Gilbert in for
I would get Gilbert in for sure, i think Rodriguez is going to die a death and be lucky to get top 15

I do the same Simon, take a nice slow enjoyable country ride and then sprint down the hill coming back into my village at speeds that have been clocked by police at 52mph, Just incase anyone sees me and thinks i’m fitting than i really am, lol

Have to laugh tho, just checked eurosport, still listing Andy as fourth, but if you watch the video, they call Vino as fourth

Vino was 4th. Eurosport called Andy Schleck as 4th at the end of the race (it was wrong on our race report too for a while) but in fact he rolled in well down the field.

Bummer, thats the only site i’m seeing listed like that 🙁

I dont know if you have
I dont know if you have finished with your points, but i’m getting 0 points for Andy Schleck and he finished 4th :S

Looking at others, Vinokourov seems to be getting 17 even though he wasn’t in the top 10

    1. Philippe Gilbert
    2. Joaquim Rodriguez
    3. Samuel Sanchez
    4. Andy Schleck
    5. Igor Anton
    6. Jelle Vanendert
    7. Frank Schleck
    8. Daniel Moreno Fernandez
    9 Christophe Le Mevel
    10 Paul Martens

    Boost, could be a decent
Boost, could be a decent scorer this time round, now on to the weekend, its not so bad because its mostly the same riders, so i should be able to field a 9 strong team

Right, quick question, Had a few riders up in the top 10 this time, very happy with my picks because i only had 6 riders today

I had Vanendert, so does that mean, i get his points plus 5 because Gilbert won?

I’ve used SPD’s on my road
I’ve used SPD’s on my road bikes since the mid 90’s and now use mountain pedals cause they were the lightest i could find

I have also used look and others, but dont find any difference, so stuck to the spd’s, its down to person preference really rather than performance unless your going out fully clad in skinsuit and everything aero?

I get people around my area
I get people around my area asking me this all the time because i’m always getting stopped coming back into my village by the police and speed trap thing, the limit just off the bottom of the hill is 30mph and i’ve been caught going 52mph and keep getting warned about it

As i tell them, if i try and use my brakes on that kind of surface i’ll go off, so i have to slow down on the flat

But i tell everyone, just go downhill as you feel comfortable, dont go trying to learn styles and try it how professionals do because all your doing if you try that is putting yourself at risk

If you watch a video online of someone going downhill and then go and try it, the slightest wobble could see you on your arse sliding downhill or even worse, under a vehicle, so as long as your comfy, try what you want, but dont push the limits to far

Argh! Of my picks, I think I saw Spartacus crash down, taking out Koen de Kort, blocking Taraamae and I think Nocentini was also involved. At least Gesink got me some points, but if there was a bad luck prize, I’d be in the running today.

Unlucky, same happened to me in the Paris Roubaix, where four or five of my riders were taken out by one big orange bugger 😛

So getting 30 points wasn’t as bad as i thought, now away to watch the race in HD as i’ve been out doing a TT all day, so had to sky + it

    Cancellara has a strong team,
Cancellara has a strong team, they just weren’t at the PR with him

If i was in his position, i would have just sat back and said, feck it all, do it yourself, Ballan and Hushovd had someone up the road, but they would have wanted the win themselves, they just wanted him to do all the work for them, just like Chavanel last week

But there were a few arguments going on today, at one point Flecha was bumping shoulders with someone from Rabobank and shouting at each other

Was a decent race in the end, spoilt by a few spats and crashes, but thats racing i suppose

Only scorer for me was Cancellara, the rest seemed to get taken out by Rabobank and apart from the very start i never even saw Wiggins at all

Well I wish I’d neglected to check my team last night as Van Summeren was greyed out…… so I transferred Hammond in.

….. whereas last week I checked on friday and all my team were riding but in the end only four of my team rode the Tour of Flanders.

    Ah well……

    Unlucky

I now hold a grudge against Rabobank, its was one of their riders went down and took 3 of my riders out, Thomas, Hondo and Boonen, lol
