Ribble has launched two new gravel bike ranges: the race-focused Ultra-Grit and the adventure-ready Allgrit, which includes five models in total. The quintet of fresh gravel grinders feature tyre clearance of up to 53mm at the front and 50mm at the rear, fully internal cable routing, suspension fork compatibility, and extensive mounting options. Prices range from £1,699 to £7,499, with frame materials including carbon, alloy, titanium, and electric-assist options.

Ribble last updated its gravel lineup in 2021, and now the brand is back with a new five-bike range that includes both race-focused and adventure-oriented options. The bikes are designed to suit “every gravel enthusiast from competitive racers to everyday explorers.”
Jamie Burrow, Ribble’s Head of Product, says, “The brief for these bikes was clear; for the Ultra-Grit we wanted to build an ultra-competitive range that’s taken design inspiration from our fastest road bikes and combined it with real gravel utility. With Allgrit, we’ve developed four models, each tailored to specific types of adventure riding. These latest ranges are the real deal.”
Ultra-Grit

The Ultra-Grit is Ribble’s dedicated gravel race bike, developed in collaboration with the Ribble Outliers Pro Gravel Team. Described as being engineered for aero efficiency, precise handling, and optimal power transfer, it takes design inspiration from the brand’s Ultra-Race road bike.
The frame is constructed from a blend of Toray T1000 and M46 carbon fibres and has a claimed weight of under 900gin a size medium. For comparison, the Ridley ASTR RS frame weighs a claimed 890g, while Canyon’s Grail CF SLX frame comes in at 855g (both size medium).
Ribble says that the geometry is race-tuned for competitive gravel riding, while the rear flex stays and asymmetric seat tube are designed to improve compliance across rough surfaces.

There’s plenty of space for up to 50mm of rubber at the rear and 53mm at the front and other features include, fully internal cable routing, compatibility with both 1x and 2x drivetrains, and a BSA threaded bottom bracket.
The frame also includes SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger and despite being a race-focussed model, is equipped with integrated downtube storage and plenty of mounts for luggage, bottles and mudguards.
Ultra-Grit Team Edition

The Ultra-Grit Team Edition takes everything from the Ultra-Grit and pairs it with top-tier components to create a “no compromise gravel race machine”, says Ribble. This is the model raced by the Ribble Outliers Pro Gravel Team and the full spec and price can be seen below.
Complete builds weigh a claimed 8.0kg (Size M). For comparison, Canyon’s Grail CF SLX 8 AXS is claimed to weigh 8.1kg (size M), while the Ridley ASTR RS, with a medium SRAM Red build, weighs 7.84kg.
Rockshox Rudy Ultimate
Suspension forks on gravel bikes are a big talking point, but there’s no denying that they can bring better comfort to the front end, especially on rougher terrain.

The RockShox Rudy Ultimate fork is available across all models and spec levels, offering 30mm of travel, clearance for tyres up to 700x50c and adding a claimed 700g to your setup.
It features the new Charger Race Day 2 damper which is said to RockShox’s lightest performance-driven damper to date, with two compression settings: open or rock-solid lockout. There’s full mudguard compatibility with 3-bolt mounts and an included short RockShox mudguard.
Geometry

Ribble describes the Ultra-Grit as having “geometry and features optimised for high-speed racing and advanced off-road control”.
We can see that the medium-sized Ultra-Grit comes with a 570mm top tube, 510mm seat tube, and 145mm head tube. The frame angles are 71.5° (head angle) and 73.5° (seat angle). The stack height is 562.1mm while the reach is 403.5mm.
Ribble says the tube shaping and aerodynamics of the Ultra-Grit have been informed by the Ultra Race, which in a size medium has a 550mm top tube, 520mm seat tube, and a slightly taller 150mm head tube. Its frame angles are 72.5° (head) and 73.5° (seat), with a stack of 551mm and a reach of 388mm.
As expected for a gravel-focused design, the Ultra-Grit has a longer reach and slacker head angle, which contribute to greater stability on loose or uneven terrain.

The Ribble Ultra-Grit is available to buy now in three standard builds, as well as the top-tier Team Edition, with prices ranging from £2,599 to £7,499. All models are available in sizes from XXS to XL.

Allgrit

Alongside the Ultra-Grit, Ribble has also launched the Allgrit, which is the brand’s adventure-focussed range designed to deliver “all-day comfort, confident handling and smart, real-world features across every spec level”.
The lineup includes four models: the Allgrit AL, Allgrit E AL, Allgrit Ti-X and Allgrit E Carbon-X.
Allgrit AL

The Allgrit AL is Ribble’s alloy adventure bike, with full carbon fork. There have been some nods to aerodynamics with fully internal cable routing and an “aero optimised” downtube, according to Ribble, which is said to have been informed by the Ultra-Race road bike and Ultra-Grit gravel bike.
As with the Ultra-Grit bikes, there is large tyre clearance for up to 53mm tyres at the front and 50mm tyres at the rear, plus a host of luggage and mudguard mounts.
It’s compatible with both 1x and 2x drivetrains and uses a T47 threaded bottom bracket.
Allgrit E AL

The Allgrit E AL is Ribble’s alloy electric gravel bike, combining a hydroformed 7005 aluminium frame with a Mahle X30 rear hub motor system offering 250W of power and 45Nm of torque.
Like it’s non-assisted sibling, the Allgrit E AL has a full carbon fork and internal cable routing, and is 1x and 2x drivetrain compatible.
Allgrit Ti-X

The Allgrit Ti-X features a 3AL-2.5V titanium frame and 3D-printed head and seat lugs, as well as full internal cable routing and generous tyre clearance – up to 50mm at the rear and 53mm at the fork.
It’s 1x and 2x drivetrain compatible and has a T47 threaded BB.
Allgrit E Carbon-X

Finally, the Allgrit E Carbon-X brings Ribble’s carbon frame technology to the assisted gravel segment. Built with T1000 and M46 fibres, it features flex stays and an asymmetric seat tube to balance stiffness with compliance, like the race-focused Ultra-Grit.
The frame is paired with the Mahle X20 hub-driven motor system, offering 55Nm of torque and a 350W battery.
The Allgrit E Carbon-X includes fully internal cable routing, aero-informed tube shaping, and clearance for 700x50mm tyres (53mm at the fork).
Geometry

Despite being designed with all-day comfort in mind, the Allgrit bikes share almost identical geometry with the race-focused Ultra-Grit (Ribble confirmed this to us when we asked to double-check). Both feature a 570mm top tube, 510mm seat tube, 145mm head tube, and identical frame angles, with the only difference being a 0.1mm increase in stack height on the Allgrit.
Allgrit specs and prices
All models are available in sizes from XXS to XL and prices range from £1,699 to £5,299. Like the Ultra-Grit bikes, all Allgrit models can be upgraded to include the RockShox Rudy Ultimate fork which is priced at £300.

The stack on the Adventure
The stack on the Adventure versions are far too low for off-road comfort.
Yeah, but you have to have
Yeah, but you have to have slammed integrated looking stem or people won’t buy it.
Shame there are no Shimano
Shame there are no Shimano groupset options, good to see more manufacturers providing additional tyre clearance though 👍
It’s a bit odd there is no
It’s a bit odd there is no unassisted Carbon version for the AllGrit. Are Ribble forcing you into shelling out a bit more for a more (too) aggressive Ultra-Grit if you want it a bit lighter and compliant?
