Aldi is preparing for another one of its popular cycle sales on Thursday 9th May, and the highlights include an £80 smart helmet and a £25 bike stand. The new range has been available to pre-order online since 5th May, but despite that, we still reckon there’ll be loads on offer in the shop tomorrow.

A highlight of the new offerings is a Livall Mt1 Smart Helmet (£79.99) which incorporates Bluetooth speaks and a microphone so you can take calls or listen to music when pedalling to the office. There are also LED turning and safety lights to help you stand out on the road.

Let’s just hope it’s better than the Livall Bling smart helmet we reviewed recently…

Inside the padded insert has an antibacterial finish.

Complete your wardrobe with a Seamless Base Layer Top (£4.99) with Cycling Gloves (£3.99) in a choice of sizes and colours, and Ergonomic Cycling Socks (£2.99) designed to provide more support and comfort than regular socks.
