US bike brand All-City is today launching a special edition Mr Pink road bike to celebrate its 10th birthday, which it says has the “most expensive and coolest paint job” it has ever put on a bike.

The 10th anniversary Mr Pink will be limited and available either as a frameset to build yourself or complete bikes. The frame gets special badging and a hand finished paint job which means no two frames will have the exact same splatter finish.

“Due to the paint cost, these do run a bit more than the standard Pinks, but you get what you pay for. And what you’re paying for is one of the nicest paint jobs around,” explains the company in its press release.

The Mr Pink is the company’s steel framed road racing bike. It’s made from Columbus Zona steel tubing with very classic features and aesthetics, all skinny tubes and non-oversized head tube and bottom bracket.

The geometry is inspired by classic road racing bikes but there’s concession to modern demands for wide tyres, so it’ll take up to 32mm rubber without mudguards, or 28mm with mudguards fitted. So it’s practical as well as fast.

Complete bikes will be equipped with Shimano 105 R7000 groupsets with Shimano RS300 wheels and Clement Strada 28mm tyres and topped off with a Whisky No.7 handlebar and All-City Gonzo saddle. When we know how much it costs we’ll of course let you know.
