Sir Bradley Wiggins has not congratulated Chris Froome on his Tour de France victory, Froome's fiancee Michelle Cound has revealed.
"We haven't heard anything directly from Bradley since the win," Cound told the Mail on Sunday.
"But then I've not ever met or even spoken to either Brad or Cath. It's not like we're in the same places. Our paths don't cross."
The comments come despite the fact that in recent days, Wiggins has stated that he would support Froome at the next Tour.
He told Sky Sports News: "I don't see why we can't work together and I'm sure we will be back at the Tour next year, if I'm selected. I would like to be there, but it is not my decision.
"The individual performance from Chris [at the Tour] was incredible. To win three stages and dominate the way he did, I think it showed the pre-race hype was right."
Wiggins is however not billed to ride for Sky at the USA Pro Challenge through Colorado, which Froome will headline, starting tomorrow.
But perhaps the two British Tour de France winners have managed to put their alleged and much-spoken-about differences behind them.
"I wouldn't say we're mates or that we hang out," Froome has said.
"We're both professionals who get on with the job. This year he's been on a completely different race programme to me. He focused on the Giro, I focused on the Tour. There's not much to it really."
And the idea of Wiggins supporting Froome at the next Tour isn't impossibility, the younger rider said.
"It's a good thing for the team, a privileged position for the team, having two Tour winners and having the possibility of being able to play those different cards."
"At the end of the day people will need to remember, whatever race we go to, we will go there with a clear plan and, as professionals, we will stick to that plan regardless of if we're mates or not."
Froome also revealed in the interview that he has a surprising tipple of choice.
Following his victory in Paris, he had to make do with champagne, rather than his favourite, Baileys
He said: "I do like Baileys but there wasn't any there that night … there were bottles of tequila floating around. There was definitely champagne, and red wine."

The people of Wales wish to disown her.
.
Come on Michelle - pretending you're a man called Dan isn't fooling anyone.
Who cares, total tabloid twaddle. I haver seen Cound on a bike....
Re hashing Daily Mail stories is the scourge of media.
I would like to say that I haven't congratulated Chris either.
Neither did I. Where is the story here, Michelle?
From the BBC Sport website - "Asked about compatriot and Team Sky team-mate Chris Froome's triumph in this year's race, he said: "Going in he was undoubtedly the favourite. Having seen what he'd been doing leading up to the Tour, it was just a case of doing what he'd been doing all year. And he did that, it was incredible.
"The team showed that they didn't really need me. They did the job.
"Even if I'd been fit this year, I probably wouldn't have been selected. It's just a case of doing the best you can and they pick the team according to the demands of the event.
"I think he's earned the right to lead the team again next year and do it all again." "

If that's not congratulations then what is? Is the 2013 TdF winner so insecure? Isn't winning the damn thing enough? Sheesh. Show some maturity.
Also - Baileys?! Really?!
Are you serious ! a phone call saying... Froome, brilliant job well done is congratulations not this crap, they are team mates, I've played professional Rugby with guys I would not piss on if they were on fire however I still congratulated them in person for good performances and when the team won, Wiggins should show some humility phone Froome and say Well Done, no matter what personal issues they have
She really cant help herself can she, shes bad news....
Really? Do you know her personally that you can make such a definitive statement?
I bet it was more like this:
Mail On Sunday: Has Brad called Chris at all?
Michelle Cound: No. They don't really get to talk much because their paths don't cross much. We haven't heard directly from Brad or Cath but then we haven't called them either.
MoS: Oh really? [scribbles furiously]
The fact is the Mail and its Sunday evacuation, are utter dirge and will make shit up where no drama exists. Buying into their bullshit on any level keeps them in a job.
That should have been the headline and the only topic of the article, really
christ, does it actually matter FFS?
If This is true, this really shows what kind of sportsman Wiggo is - arrogant, selfish and ungrateful!!! Of course it matters!!! If Wiggins didn't have a wheel to follow over a year ago, and a teammate who had to sacrifice his own chances of winning 2 tours on the trot, Wiggins would have not even been a Grand Tour winner! I will not be supporting Wiggins in any future tours.
Go Froomey!!!
So what?
