Chris Lawless wins Tour de Yorkshire for Team Ineos, Greg van Avermaet takes final stage

Thrilling final stage caps four days of racing in region that will host UCI Road World Championships

Chris Lawless of Team Ineos has won the Tour de Yorkshire following a thrilling fourth and final stage of the race, finishing second to defending champion Grenb van Avermaet of CCC in a three-way sprint as the race finished in Leeds.

The third man in that group was Eddie Dunbar, Lawless's team-mate, who after attacking from 20 kilometres from the end of the 176-km stage from Halifax seemed at one point to be heading himself to overall victory in what was a pulsating afternoon's racing.
