We're expecting showers all over the place this #mycyclingweekend, send us your shots of sunny showers, and torrential downpours to WIN!...

The Met Office is predicting a sloppy weekend in places - weather wise at least - and as the days continue to shrink, we think it's time you all embraced the impending bad weather. Cycle Surgery agree, so they're offering a prize for the road.cc reader who most embraces the rain.

Unfortunately for those of you who are blessed with beautiful weather for your #mycyclingweekend rides, you won't be winning a prize this weekend. But the ride itself should be more than enough of a prize, right?

To enter, you've got to remember to include BOTH the #mycyclingweekend hashtag AND the #CycleSurgery hashtag in your photo's caption.

The lucky/soggy winner of this weekend's prize will receive a a Genuine Innovations' Hammerhead Compact CO2 Inflator worth £23. You can check out our review of it below. It does an excellent job.

So, send us your photos of your wet and wonderful #mycyclingweekend ride, and we'll cast our critical eye over the bunch and pick a winner on Monday.

Here's a bit of inspiration for you, including Tommy_conkers's joyously soggy face:

Elliot joined team road.cc bright eyed, bushy tailed, and straight out of university.

Raised in front of cathode ray tube screens bearing the images of Miguel Indurain and Lance Armstrong, Elliot's always had cycling in his veins.
His balance was found on a Y-framed mountain bike around South London suburbs in the 90s, while his first taste of freedom came when he claimed his father's Giant hybrid as his own at age 16.

When Elliot's not writing for road.cc about two-wheeled sustainable transportation, he's focussing on business sustainability and the challenges facing our planet in the years to come.
