Love cycling? Love fishing? Why not follow the lead of Australian YouTube user Tommy Jackett and combine the two?
With Far Eastern dockless bike operators now launching in cities worldwide – London, Manchester, Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge are among British cities where the likes of Ofo and Mo Bike can be found – the likelihood is that some of them will be dumped in local waterways by ne’er do wells.
With the help of a huge hook and some strong line, Jackett went fishing in Melbourne’s River Yarra and got a decent haul.
“They’re like carp,” he said. “You don’t throw them back in.”
O Bike itself is based in Singapore and in another video filmed in Melbourne, Jackett used a drone to film what he termed the company’s “Mothership.”
