The ADO Air 20 Ultra Folding Electric Bike largely follows the brand’s established design template. It uses a belt drive and a torque sensor, and although it’s around a kilogram heavier than the Pro model, it still remains under the 20kg mark with a claimed weight of 19kg.
Its 2-speed system delivers smooth power, offering 40 Nm and 250 W of torque. The bike is equipped with Bafang’s automatic 3-speed motor, which adjusts the gear ratio based on the bike’s speed. ADO says this setup provides 24% more torque at low speeds.
The Air 20 Ultra also features a magnetic latch that secures the bike when folded, making it much easier to carry than its predecessor.

Thanks to its carbon fibre frame, the Air Carbon is ADO’s lightest folding e-bike. It’s impressively light, nippy, and built to a very high standard. ADO say the Air Carbon is 12kg all in, though with the battery and pedals fitted it can be slightly higher – but still remarkably light for a folding e-bike.
As a true folder, the Air Carbon uses 20-inch wheels, keeping the overall package compact and portable. The battery is stored neatly inside the seatpost and, with its 345 Wh capacity, ADO claims it can deliver a range of up to 100km.
In terms of power assistance, it’s equipped with a 36V/250W Bafang brushless motor producing up to 35 Nm of torque.

The Air One Pro Family E-Bike is a low maintenance, easy-to-live-with, daily runaround that you can set up to carry cargo in multiple ways. It features a rear rack with a rear light attached. As with the Air 30 Ultra, it features indicators controlled via a switch on the handlebars.

For leisurely riding, the Air 30 Ultra City E-Bike performs really well. The torque sensor helps ensure smooth power delivery, and the motor is punchy enough to ease you up shallow to moderate slopes.
The Ultra model has a three-speed Bafang hub motor, jointly developed by ADO and Bafang. Having the gearing taken care of inside the hub means that the Air 30 can be fitted with a low maintenance belt drive, and beyond that it’s a pretty straightforward urban hybrid e-bike with a rack, mudguards, lights, and a suspension seat post.
