That German meticulous attention to detail… quite awesome really
I was only saying to Tony earlier today that the cheapo Lidl repair kit that I got last year was "great" and "the kit was all pretty good quality"...then I got home tonight and lo and behold one of the plastic tyre levers snapped clean in half.
I'll give them this; they've engineered the planned obsolescence of their products down to an absolute tee
Looks like a trip to Lidl is on the cards...
Got a pair of the gloves yesterday. They're not bad.
Bought a couple of tops recently for less than a tenner. Not the highest quality but usually have the flatlock stitching, rubber grippers and a variety of pockets making them ideal for the daily commute.
I bought one of the workstands yesterday and it actually seems to be pretty sturdy. It's obviously not up to same standard as the top Park stands but for the occasional home mechanic it's perfect
And a £5 off when you spend £30 voucher in the Daily Star this week!
