Calling London: LCC wants capital's cyclists for photoshoot on Saturday 21 January (date change)

Riders invited to pop along to LCC's offices between 1pm and 4pm to help publicise Go Dutch campaign...

The London Cycling Campaign (LCC) has issued an appeal for cyclists of all persuasions to join it for a photoshoot at its offices near London Bridge on Saturday 21st January - not the 14th, as originally advised, due to "unforeseen gremllins."

LCC is inviting the capital’s cyclists, with or without a bike, to join it at its office at 2 Newhams Row, London, SE1 3UZ between 1pm and 4pm to get their portrait taken by a professional photographer to help publicise its Go Dutch campaign.

It promises that the portrait  will only take five or ten minutes of your time – although it adds that “Hopefully, you'll have time for a cup of tea and a chat too.”

Attendees are promised a “a high-quality studio-style portrait for your collection (if you want one).”

Go Dutch, LCC’s main campaign in the coming month, “is calling on the mayoral candidates to pledge to make London a more liveable city for everyone by making our streets as safe and inviting for cycling as they are in Holland.”

looks good, lets just hope they don't get swamped, as if London cyclists get hold of this in their usual 'all hands on deck' fashion could be a fair few turning up for the pictures..that being said, I'll be there 4

Any chance they could set up their kit at Excel in Docklands? Some sort of show on over there on Saturday.
