Hot on the heals of their Merino wool t-shirt, Outlier the purveyors of tailored performance wear from NYC are launching the Waxed Cotton Cap designed in conjunction with New York master milliner, Victor Osborne.
A number of things set this cap apart from the crowd says Outlier's Tyler Clemens apart from the crowd. First off, it's a bit more structured and less flimsy to give a solid fit, “this is a premium garment that's wind proof, water resistant and ready for those crisp morning rides season after season.”
Tyler also waxed lyrical (sorry) about the waxed cotton: “Waxed cotton (like good whiskey) builds character and develops with time. The colors darken and the fabric's appearance enhances.”
This cool weather cap is ours for a cool $60, but quality does pay for itself in the end. Available in medium or large sizes and the choice of navy, army green, or black and tan.

Effective little things. Even have them on my Good Bike, my least reflectored. Still working through packs of them I got very cheap at Tesco.
