Mario Cipollini to open London Cycle Show…and he'll be bringing his bikes too

Two days of Super Mario + his new bike & clothing range

If you've been reading our Eurobike coverage you'll know we've got a soft spot for Mario Cipollini and his bikes… well, seems like we're in luck because Super Mario will be at next month's Cycle Show in fact he's going to be opening the whole shebang. AND he'll be doing a question and answer session with David Harmon from Eurosport on the Thursday & Friday.

That's not all, when he's not answering questions on stage Cipo will be on the Paligap stand, E22 being cool with his cool bikes… we'd like to think that he'd jump on a turbo trainer and maybe lay down some serious power while he's there… we won't get our hopes up, but on the other hand Paligap also bring in Cyclops and PowerTap… so maybe we've planted the seed. Even if he doesn't it'll be worth pitching along to to E22 for the chance to feast your eyes on the MCipollini RB1000 and the RB800 two of the best looking bikes we've seen in a good while and to check out the great man's line of cycle wear, it probably looks best on him, but it is again all fairly classy and understated kit and like the bikes looks like a fair amount of thought has gone in to it by people that actually ride bikes a lot. Both bikes and clothing are unashamedly high end, but you'd be disappointed if there were anything less.

If you want to come and see Cipo and his bikes at the show… maybe ask him a question his schedule is below. Oh, and if you book in advance you can get a rather generous discount on tickets too.

To book go to www.cycleshow.co.uk/rcc or call 0844 848 0132 and tell them road.cc sent you giving the discount code: RCC which will get you in for £10.50 instead of £15 – all bookings are subject to a one-off £1 booking charge, but you can spread the pain by buying more than one ticket per booking.
