Video: Casey Neistat back with another video highlighting poor bike infrastructure in New York City

Man whose slapstic-but-serious take on problems on city's bike lanes turns attention to Williamsburg Bridge...

Casey Neistat, the American cyclist and videographer whose serious but-slapstick bike lane video highlighted the problems caused to New York City's cyclists by parked cars and other obstructions is back with another example of poorly thought out infrastructure in the city.

> NYC cyclist fined for not using bike lane uses slapstick humour to prove his point (+ video)

This time, the focus is the city's Williamsburg Bridge, used by more than 2,000 cyclists a day, making it the most popular for the city's bike riders.

Neistat is among a number of riders fined for going through a tiny gap at the end of the bike lane - and says that instead of spending four hours challenging the p[enalty, instead he would make a video to highlight the issue - the above footage is the result, and we reckon is a pretty persuasive way of getting the point across.

Clearly as Trump told the NRA, legal gun ownership effectively eradicates violent crime, the NYPD have nothing better to do than ticket cyclists.

(NYC had 290 murders in 2017, compared to 116 in London - both cities just over 8.5 million souls)

Edit: and that really is badly designed infrastructure.
