Tour Series time again...
Tour Series Logo.pngAnd so, 12 months on from the last visit, the Halfords Tour Series reaches Peterborough this afternoon after a really successful event in 2009.
As with the previous event, this afternoons festivities kick off with the city council backed "Travel Choice Time Trial" which sees the local amateur riders from Peterborough CC and Fenland Clarion compete in a two lap event with aggregate times deciding the winner.
You may remember my efforts in this event last year (which you can read about by clicking here) and, with a bit of luck I shall be heading round the circuit again this afternoon.
Under cooked would be a fair assessment of my form at the moment and with Flat out in the Fens only a couple of weeks away I am going to ride there and back (the long way round) as I need the miles!
Then it will be a quick spin back home to get changed and back into town for the main event in the evening.
Will let you all know how I get on.
