Official Prudential RideLondon kit now on sale at Wiggle

dhb jersey and shorts combo will set you back less than £100

If you managed to get through the ballot for the Prudential RideLondon then you might be interested to know that the official kit goes on sale today through online retailer Wiggle.

The kit is being produced dhb. The bibs are similar in construction to the Aeron Race ones we've tested, but they feature an upgraded Cytech Endurance seat pad (the same as the Wiggle Honda team use) and a higher spec fabric.

The jersey is similar to the Trace, but again the spec of the jersey has again been improved. We haven't had a jersey from dhb yet that didn't review well, so you should be okay there too.

"The Official Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 cycling range pays homage the rich history of past European cycling jerseys", says designer Tom Webb. "The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 jersey takes these same classic design conventions, and incorporates symbolic British colours with a fresh and bold blocked colour layout." It has a bit of a retro Euro feel to it, not quite the Mondrian lines of La Vie Claire. More Panasonic Sportlife. With nicer colours.

Anyway, the kit will set you back £49.99 for the jersey and £59.99 for the shorts, or you can buy the two together for £94.99. There's men's and women's kit available, of course. We're guessing they'll sell quite a lot of it at that price.

dhb, who are the official clothing sponsor,  will be releasing a full range of Official PRL merchandise including souvenir t-
shirts, a cycle cap and water bottle, if you can't stretch to (or don't want) the full kit. Everything will be available to buy online and at the dhb stand at the Prudential RideLondon Cycling Show, Excel Centre on 7–9 August.

Looks nice, let's hope the charity jersey I have to wear is just as well designed!
