These are 2 of CM’s cases

These are 2 of CM’s cases where the Met. deployed their latest ‘unable to process’ dodge to avoid doing anything- he tracked down the outcomes on the infamous Met spreadsheet. The first is where the phone-offending thug driver threatened CM with his fist and swore at him. The second is about parking on the zig-zags by a crossing

I nominally have a court date

I nominally have a court date. Sigh…. so it might well go all the way

And yet: Mr Anderson, in the same topic as I mention in my post a few below, drew attention to the fact that Cycling Mikey’s reports are now being binned a la Lancashire Constabulary routine behaviour, except that the Met. just write ‘unable to process’ as an excuse. Lancashire just refuses to respond at all. If you watch CM’s video you will see and hear swearing which the Met. wasn’t interested in. I know from my own experience that Lancashire Constabulary just had ‘words of advice’ for a BMW driver who threatened to ‘fucking flatten’ me and to knock me off my bike. Swearing by motorists is excused routinely by the expletive-deleted police, and yet we see TLO’s case. B******s!

I don’t know about other forces, but West Yorkshire actually publish quarterly stats on submissions to their video portal

HoldingOn in here says that he has tried hard but has been unable to identify his submissions/ offences against him, from the spreadsheet. These spreadsheets bear little relation to the truth/ what actually happens to offenders- which is mostly nothing at all

    The tide should be banned

The tide should be banned from affecting access / egress of high value vehicles ; especially if the owner is very wealthy and / or important

See Cnut v. The Tides circa 1049- not auspicious, but the driver of a really big Audi might do the trick, so it’s his duty to try

    No ved since November…

    No ved since November…

Pfff! Lancashire Constabulary openly declares that they’re not interested and accordingly ignored WU59 UMH for years (approaching 8 years without VED), which was regularly parked outside the pub150 yards from the police station. But it’s not just them- DVLA is also not interested. I have reported BF64 TGE 3 times to DVLA since early 2022- they won’t let you send in photos because they don’t want to know. Most of mine over the years are taken outside his house. However, I think DVLA and the police would go hard after VED dodgers they really don’t like: people who waste their time by reporting offences

Red-light dodgers blamed as Stoke-on-Trent road to shut for six weeks. There have been plenty of rule-breakers around the roadworks

It’s worse than amazing that the various police forces haven’t worked out that if you refuse to punish persistent road traffic offences, then the offences become more common!

The lesson for people may be to beware – but …The lesson for regimes is perhaps the other way
    Very good point!

The Party told you to reject
The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command
Almost, but not quite, like a quotation from Animal Farm. Is it a famous quotation?

Good news for mankind, though, a BMW driver and a BMW off the roads, and BMW insurance going up again

West Yorkshire actually publish quarterly stats on submissions to their video portal

Very interesting, but there’s no reference number on the Excel file for you to unequivocally identify ‘your’ offences and see the actual outcome. So, how do you get at your 90% of my submissions get some kind of action? Do you get an email to specify the registration of, for instance Row 2 Jan-March 25 spreadsheet, the white Range Rover who committed a ‘without due care’ offence ‘somewhere in North/ West Yorkshire sometime in January 25 and reportedly was awarded the joke educational course? – there must be about a thousand such offences committed every day in White Range RoverLand
