Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes…

I just don’t remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it’s irresponsible.

‘A Dorset Police spokesperson said: “Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.

“It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment.” ‘

Aviva telly ad normalises crashing into buildings!

siezed last night by a bout of lock down boredom, I actually saw some live TV.  So there’s a cutesy ad with all these cute bunnies, etc in the road and the driver calling up to say she’s crashed into a pet shop. Whatever next!

On that ad, wouldn’t the insurance company just say, “So you are admitting liability?” and tell the driver to toddle off…?

    I’ve driven up to Birmingham

I’ve driven up to Birmingham to pick up a kebab, so I’ve got this double bill. I struggled a bit to make the video work but it’s worth it – having found his/her way blocked, he appears to drive off, having damaged three lots of other people’s property.  Just another day.

Must try harder. Fair play to the water company, I reported it when I got back this morning and they’d been to investigate within a couple of hours. Turns out it’s not their responsibility, belongs to the farm. So I feel slightly better now!
