They probably misinterpreted all of our comments lamenting that painted cycle lanes are more dangerous than nothing at all.
Well they, Jackie and John Cooke, were offered by the DVLA for no extra charge the numberplate JJ64GAS which seems a better and more personalised plate than the one they had originally to me.I don’t know – that seems a bit lame. What’s the “6” doing there?
“John and Jackie are giddy for the gas”?! I suspect N14GAS was already a post hoc rationalisation based on what ‘GAS’ suffix plates were actually available to buy.
I also love the unsupported claim in the article that “many people are now worried that postcodes could also be considered offensive”.

I for one can’t understand that tit for tat verbal abuse can be prosecuted on one side, but not the other…However, the video evidence will speak for itself.
Unfortunately if the newly added video is all the video evidence, it doesn’t show much of the driver’s verbals. I really sympathise with the little onion here and hope there’s footage showing the driver giving as good as they got. Such a depressing state of affairs and one I could well imagine myself in.

I have two StvZsvotVso compliant lights, or whatever they’re called, but there’s still room for human error as they need to be angled appropriately. At what *I think* is the right angle, I no longer get oncoming pedestrians shielding their eyes – but the flip side is I can be alarmingly close behind an all-in -black pedestrian in the unlit park before the beam picks out their ankles.
