I’m now worried about the amount of bright and fluorescent clothing that I’m sometimes wearing.

I mean I don’t want to be “distracting”!

    The Forum is not dead.

I think that Nigel went a bit mad a long time ago.

    His hero just lost.

So he’s having a go at an easy target.

By the way, I’m not following a link to the Mail, but I can get the gist from your fine rant.

I had put it down to

I had put it down to incompetence, utter disregard to theirs or others safety or remembering that when they turned their lights on for the fog that one time, they left them on while at work and couldn’t start the car when it was going home time.

Of course, but the 3M will

Of course, but the 3M will always be more reflective.

And lots of other bright and reflective cloting.  Lots of lights too, and more than legally required bike reflectors.

You see, I didn’t see any other cyclists when on the road, so my lights didn’t light up anyone elses reflectives, or get to compare it with bright colours.

    I have been giving

I have been giving Butterworths of Liverpool, now Cyclesure, a fair bit of money for the past 20 odd years.  Around 10% of your most expensive bicycle, though it would seem that is coming down a bit.  Never really found the small print to be too onerous, well less so now, there was a bit in the early days about not being covered when locked up in the dark, but with more competition that disappeard.  Gold lock is fairly standard.

There is also crash insurance included, sometimes when in an organised race too.

Ha, I don’t think the fireman’s tape will stop anyone, sat nav says GO.

It has been a shockingly wet October, that first weekend featured the wettest day on record, and it has rained quite a lot since, especially on Saturday.

I cannot give you a Like for the other story, nasty piece of work, but a fair sentence.

Well done for starting with the pirate and almost finishing with the tandem.

But of course they will have

But of course they will have had several hours to sober up/drink more or get some of the drugs out of their system.

Some of my favorite bits on “police Inteceptors” are when the wrong’un has crashed their car whilst drunk, but then reports the vehicle stolen in a drunken act of “genius”, but when the police show up find that their shoes are covered in mud and they have their car keys, and the icing on the cake, they locked their car up before leaving it, something that a “car thief” is probably not really concerned about.

Well they are meant ot make

Well they are meant ot make the car more noticable.  I’m guessing that they came on automatically, witht the deployment of the airbags.

I’m getting a bit of the pages of text thing every so often.  None of the nice web pageness.

It hadn’t happened for months, maybe years, but has happened a few times over the past few days.
