It was against a scooter rider though.  But 10 years is much better than a lot of Careless and Dangerous driving offences are getting.

I for one am hoping against hope that more dangerous drivers are charged with GBH rather than Careless/Dangerous Driving.   Million dollar question is that what would it take to start a trend for doing this for cyclists?

I hope this nasty peice of work has some regret for his actions, and that the scooterist makkes some sort of recovery.

It is refreshing to see that the CPS didn’t just go for the easy conviction based on his admission of guilt on the above offences but went for GBH.
