Kittel’s as bent as any of them. Removing his blood, treating it with ultraviolet light and then transferring it back into his system like a dirty criminal. It wasn’t ruled illegal until later but doing that after all the blood doping & transfusion scandals. The lengths he is prepared to go to. What does that tell you about him?

    Why waste your valuable time
Why waste your valuable time watching such a farce? Don’t get angry. Just give up on it. Stop following it. Honestly, I’ve loved cycling so much more since I gave up on the morons that run and participate in the professional cycling racket.

    Completely agree. Its like
Completely agree. Its like the world wrestling federation, a complete fantasy. I find it difficult to believe there are still adults that are actually interested in professional cycling.

It used to make me angry, but I don’t even care anymore.

    She was probably in the
She was probably in the process of overtaking you. Pretty difficult to avoid an accident on a narrow path if the overtakee swerves into the overtaker’s path.

In my opinion she should have made her presence known and you should have shoulder checked. Sounds like you both handled it like sensible, mature adults though, which is nice to see. All this yelling and aggressiveness about blame and fault and the letter of the law is becoming so prevalent and tiresome.

Nice bike. Just out of interest, have you considered cutting the top of the stem off?

Totally agree. I don’t buy from companies that use Yodel.

Inversely, DPD are excellent. They send you a text with an hour’s time slot and you can track the driver online – tells you he is now delivering package 80 and you are delivery number 87 (or whatever).

    So put ‘Yes’ then.

It’s probably worth getting a bike from the continent with the strong pound at the moment.
The GT grade carbon in cycling plus (and other previews online) had Di2 and hydraulic brakes in their review for £2599 so I went to put in an order only to have it sneakily amended to 105, needles to say I cancelled. Apparently GT did it for all their review bikes which is poor show imo.

Yeah, its annoying how bikes supplied for review often have a completely different setup to what will actually be available to the public. But the £2.6k GT Grade carbon comes with ultegra. The 105 version is £2k, they can’t charge you the ultegra price and deliver the 105 model.

    Another option to chuck out
Another option to chuck out there…the Focus Cayo Disc 4. Claimed lightest disc frame on the market, internal cable routing, thru axels, full hydros. Costs £2k. The 4.0 comes with SRAM but its all ready to upgrade to full Di2 – it has a convertible plate for electro shifting. So you could sell the SRAM and buy and install a Di2 groupset and the total price would be well under £3k.

An advantage over the rose (in my opinion) is that you can test ride it and probably get a proper bike fitting included in the price.

Ahhhhh…..that’s it! That’s what the dude that did my bike fitting had. I’ve just ordered one. Many thanks!
