    I agree Fluoxetine, although
I agree Fluoxetine, although i dont think it needs to be simpler

I think because its been advertised by alot of other parties other than Evans and Road.cc people have latched on to the idea of winning a top of the range bike for doing something they enjoy

All you need to do is have a little idea about cycle racing and the riders, then pick some, you never know, if your knowledge and or luck is good you may win something and they have gone on and told their friends, hence its just got bigger

I think the problem has come about after the “invite your friends” email and ads went out, cant remember how much it was, but you can win something for inviting people

I haven’t invited anyone because i’m a lone cyclist, not part of a club or anything, but club members could spread the word and soon a whole club could be on, multiply that by any number of people, then you can see that problems may arise by the number of people accessing the site and the limitations of the server load thats in place

Personally, i’ve seen the numbers shoot up since i joined before the season started and its just got bigger and bigger, which i think is a great thing, but can come with its own problems

Lets just hope the bugs get fixed and the game can run smoothly for the TdF

I’m kinda glad the problems have showed up now, imagine if we were a couple of stages into the TdF and it happened, i think there would be a bigger uproar, but as its just a warm it race and nothing is at stake, its not so bad

Just sit back and enjoy, it will get fixed and we’ll be back trying to spread the credits out to get a decent team in time for the TdF 😀

Crazy, chill out, as mentioned yesterday, there were server problems, Dave was/is working on them, but i’m guessing its a database issue and then are not the easiest to fix, finding the problem can sometimes be hit or miss and then figuring out what went wrong and how to correct it can be a nightmare :B

Yeah, but i’m sure its being worked on, the site has given me the “site down” page a few times tonight

I suspect its either staff working on it or server problems again

I cant make transfers either, but i’m not planning any for tomorrow, my team seems sound enough

Personally i like to have my
Personally i like to have my bars as uncluttered as possible, its bad enough having my lights and phone/computer on there without having another thing

But i tend you ride if i’m upright with my hands on the hoods and my pinkie and next finger onto the levers, so wouldn’t need another brake

Its all about personal preference tho, if you feel you want one, go get one

    As much as it looks
As much as it looks impressive, it doesn’t tell you the weight, with it being mahogany, i reckon it would weight a fair bit

    Yeah your kinda right, this
Yeah your kinda right, this is how it works

You always need to have 9 riders in your team to be able to score points

You HAVE to have 9 active riders at the start of a race, so after an unlimited period you do need 9 riders in the next race, but as the unlimited was cancelled, you just need to have 9 riders, with any amount being in the TdS

For instance, some people stuck with the DL, so might have had 9 riders on the final stage of that, there for, the max they can have in the TdS today would be 4, but because its not the start of the TdS then you can get away with that and the 4 would score, if they are in scoring positions

As long as you have 9 riders in your team, you will score for any who score in the TdS

As said above, for that cash
As said above, for that cash go 2nd hand, because if you go for something new around the 500 mark your going to end up with very low end spec and normally a heavy frame

Good Luck, i had a ride
Good Luck, i had a ride planned to Pakistan in aid of Oxfam a while back when they had their Pakistan appeal

Never came off because the lack of sponsorship and also the safety advice from various companies involved with security out there, Iran and Pakistan as simply not safe enough to cycle through

    http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living-abroad/travel-advice-by-country/asia-oceania/pakistan

    http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travel-and-living-abroad/travel-advice-by-country/middle-east-north-africa/iran

There is the governments advice for Pakistan and Iran, I would tend to heed this “We advise against all travel to within 100km of the entire Iran/Afghanistan border, and to within 10km of the entire Iran/Iraq border. The Pakistan border area is also insecure”

So cycling would be a no no in these areas and camping would just be a risk to far, I’d advise looking at another route
