We can sense spring is around the corner, but with a few more chilly mornings to contend with we'll still be giving you our verdicts on some gear meant for cooler climes for the next couple of weeks (but not too far into April we hope). Here's the pick of the pile this week...
BTR Deluxe Bike Bag Phone Holder, Phone Mount & Waterproof Rain Cover GEN 5
£15.99
While top tube bags might not be the most fashionable item with pure roadies, they're essential kit for tourers and those on long old bikepacking trips... and this one from BTR is built to carry your phone in a waterproof package. The built-in phone pocket is large enough for all smartphones, and the clip fastening on the longest strap ensures it fits a wider variety of bike frames. A key hook is included so you can find them quickly after getting home from a wet and windy ride, and the PVC phone pocket also has touchscreen functionality so you can keep it dry and keep on going. A solid option if you're relying on your phone for mapping without having to worry about the weather? Emma Silversides will be giving us her verdict soon.

Look 795 Blade RS
£3,000 (frameset)
"There was a time when aero road bikes only focused on aerodynamics, but this time has passed", so say Look... and they're touting the new 795 Blade RS as the perfect compromise between speed, lightness and stiffness. The beefy rear triangle design that Look call their 3S Design, with longer and curved seatstays, is made to maintain traction and also makes for bigger tyre clearance. There are rim and disc versions available, and Look spent plenty of time in the wind tunnel and called upon computational fluid dynamics to come up with the fastest frame possible. Find out if Stu Kerton thinks this superbike has more than just good looks in his review coming soon...

Lusso Essential Thermal gilet
£90.00
Designed for colder weather, this gilet has a quilted front that is supposed to be windproof, breathable and water repellent. The neck comes up high and there's a full length zip cover for comfort, plus the fabric is 4-way stretch so it conforms to your body shape.
