There’s still life in aluminium, and there has never been a better time to buy an aluminium road bike, as these six bikes we’ve reviewed here at road.cc prove. Carbon might be flashier and titanium more desirable, but aluminium provides a stiff and comfortable ride and is often the best value proposition, ideal if you’re on a budget and want the best bang for your buck.
So sit back and hit play on the video above and watch as we present six fantastic aluminium road bikes from Mason, Kinesis, Cannondale, Condor, Bowman and Vitus

Makes for very enjoyable
Makes for very enjoyable viewing when I’ve just received a Vitus Zenium SL Pro Disc Ultegra 2017, essentially just one-up from the one at the end of the video. Hopefully they didn’t manage to ruin it in any way.
Absolute bargain at £1100 on CRC at the moment, though only 50cm and 56cm left.
Very happy!

You bastard 🙂 That’s the bike I needed. Instead I spent a day tussling between getting a 60cm or a 56, 56 it was in the end.

The mason looks like it’s been washed with a scouring pad… #verysadface – Get the buffing kit out!
