Canyon show us their cool new Inflite cyclocross bike + the all-new 2018 Endurace and Roadlite at the Cycle Show

We take a closer look at some of the new bikes in the Canyon 2018 range on display at the Cycle Show

The Cycle Show is in full swing at the moment and one of the top brands displaying its latest products is Canyon. We popped along to the German company’s stand to check out some of its brand new bikes for 2018, and picked out the all-new Inflite CF SLX 8.0, Endurace WMN CF SL Disc, Roadlite CF 9.0 LTD and very special Ultimate CF SLX Kraftwerk Edition.

We started with the all-new Inflite CF SLX because it’s Canyon’s newest bike, launched just a few weeks ago, and because the cyclocross season is well underway across the country. The Inflite is a serious performance bike, there are no concessions to versatility. The carbon frame weighs 940g and has been designed to maximise mud clearance and easier shouldering for navigation hurdles and steep banks.  You can read more about it here.

The Endurace WMN is part of a new range of women-specific bikes (there’s also the Ultimate WMN) with the geometry, frame construction and finishing equipment tailored to the needs of women cyclists. They are disc brake only bikes and the two smallest size bikes roll on 650b wheels. You can read more details about them here.

Canyon has updated its Roadlite flat bar road bike range, first launched a couple of years ago, and this one looks a great option for those cyclists that want the speed and performance of a road bike but are put off by the drop handlebars from an ergonomic and usability point of view. We definitely think there isn’t enough appreciation for flat bar road bikes like this and it’s a bike we’ll be keen to test soon.

The final bike in the video is the special edition Kraftwerk Ultimate CF SLX, created in collaboration with the iconic music act to celebrate the Tour de France starting in Dusseldorf back in the summer.
