The basemaps aren't Google Maps, they're OpenStreetMap-based. Only the rerouting is Google Maps, as far as I can tell.

For tyre reviews it would be really helpful to report the different sizes available, not just the size that was tested.
Sorry, I can't provide any certainty. I'd be tempted to try adding a washer to see if that removes the play. With mine, if I tighten up the pivot...
