I'll happily cycle any season, but was something almost magical about cycling last winter up hills with snow banked either side - could pretend the Peak District was was Italian Giro climbs.
Crack of dawn in spring - sun peeping over the tops, mist burning off, dew on the grass. Stunning.
Spring! Mudguards gone, best bike out....the best time of year..

Spring, beginning of the racing season
summer
Spring. For the feeling when you ditch the 3/4s and get the good bike out for the first time!
Summer for me, it's never too hot
Spring- the first ride after the long winter when decide to risk wearing shorts again.
Late summer - gorgeous daily commute via the Taff Trail
Winter, on a wednesday night with lights, finishing at the pub talking b0110cks knowing we are more than half way through the week...
Yorkshire!
What d'you mean it's not a season??
There's not a better or worse time to ride, just so long as I'm riding.
early spring, as long as it's dry!
Every season has its great moments,... and not so great! Overall, summer for the long warm days and late autumn / early winter for the sense of achievement at the end of a cold, wet and hard ride... so that you can look forward to spring and start again.
Bright & crisp spring mornings for me...
Autumn- find out who the real cyclists are
Favourite season has so be spring. Sunny and cool with everything springing into life. Makes you feel good to be alive
NOW and whenever throughout the year - any season and weather has a host of positive reasons to make it great. Seeing the seasons change is one the many reasons to go on a long ride.
Late summer, especially evenings.
winter sun in a clear blue sky.... nice & fresh..
Autumn
yes please
I was thinking of lovely cold bright winter days and hot sunny summer but then remembered all the cute lambs and lovely views on Chris Crossland's Spring in the Dales audax, so SPRING it is.
Oooooooooo
It will keep my missus of my back
Riding in middle of winter when it's snowing because no-one else in their right mind is out on the bike, makes me feel invincible.
Autumn. The long days of summer are over but there is still plenty of time to get out and enjoy the countryside and take the time to watch the season change. Also means that Christmas and birthday are getting near so time to start filling the wish lists with all the new must-have kit
autumn would be a bit obvious
Autumn...Winter...Spring...Summer...just love to ride..
Spring. Getting lighter, getting warmer, not getting faster though.....!
Gotta be a clear crisp autumn morning, can't beat that.
