More difficult to quantify is the number of older or disabled people who have gained improved health, strength and balance thanks to regular e-bike use, and who may thus suffer fewer falls when not out on their bikes.

I guess you would expect a result like this. The interesting question is what % of ebike users in Denmark are over say 65. If for example it's over 50% then the result is in line.

Having said that, as an older emtb rider, I recognise the weight and difficulty of manoeuvring ebikes in tight spaces or eg in traffic. If you're not confident and or fit then keeping to trails and bike designated tracks is an obvious answer!
